Well ,Like I said before I do think the student ath, do deserve enough that a part time job would produce money wise, because they cant work because of school and there sport. So I would suggest the money come from the Networks or companies like nike or whomever wants to sponser the conf. it wouldnt take alot Im just saying they do deserve some money to go out on,or whatever and we all know they could do that. Look how much money they are paying King adams to sit up there and do nothing but look down upon all of us LOL!!!!! There are not that many student ath, on campus. And Im taking bout 500 to 6000 a mth, Wlayton you might be right Im not sure if they get allowance or not but thats all I would think they would need since they cant work is all Im saying.

I'm with Sadlerdawg, I dont believe that college players should be compensated. IMO, they are there first and for most for an education. I know many of them do not think this way. And if it wasn't for their athletic ability, they would not even be in college, whether they cant afford it or just choose not to. Im not trying to sound negative but I think many will agree with that statement. These kids need to realize that sports may not always be their means of income and they need to have a backup plan. If I am correct, not even half of the college athletes go on to the pros. That is just my 2 cents worth.

Oh, and BTW. Sadlerdawg, I think you need to change your name on here. And you know what Im talking about. I propose HAPPYdawg!! LOL

Happydawg does sound better than Harvickdawg, and after Sadler's childish display, I'm embarrassed to carry his name now!!!!

I would like to know when you think they would have time to work this job? Even after the season is over they are still training and working out, sure its not required but even non mandatory workouts are mandatory if you know what I mean.

Resolve the AJ thing.
Paying players 40 years ago was normal.
The donors "took care" of the players.
These kids live under a microscope.
I don't see a small stipend wrong, BUT keep the agent/predators off campus, off limits.
A lot of these agents are scum.
