Hey Buc - get mine from hardyfarm also

yd1 - always enjoy your updates - new AD new D coaches - a new day at UGA begins this saturday

weather forecast for athens is supposed to be nice - high 85

Buc - agree that chicken game is going to be a WAR - if hotelgate causes suspensions for the game - might help us a bit

What I'm hoping for this saturday is we come out and smack this cupcake like your supposed to - let everyone get some game experience - will help us latter in the year

bd3050 - just a little longer - the show saturday will be worth the wait

GO DAWGS - SHOW NO MERCY :woohoo:  :woohoo:  :woohoo:

Reading some of the quotes from players, most saying that UGA is better than 8/5. Saying that the team should not and will not do that again.

Another thing that I think about is this. . . .players talk about trying to get in the same "boat" with Florida and Alabama. Makes me scratch my head and ask this question. Alabama is the National Champion, good they earned it. Many of the players that escape the State of Georgia seem to sign with these two schools. My question: Are the best players in our state going to the other two schools because we are doing something wrong?

I know that if you want to be a high NFL draft choice, chances are if you play on offense, you will be a higher pick if you play in an offense like the one we run. Same offense that Coach Richt has ran since he arrived. What happened not only to the defense, what happened to the offense? sadlerdawg, last year you (and I agreed) that something was really wrong with the offensive side. (Not just the QB) We all screamed about the way WM ran the defense. You did bring up the point of Coach Bobo, if I am recalling correctly and some of his play calling. I am an old fart, could certainly be wrong. Think we also said that Coach Richt needed to get a better grasp on that side of the ball. Maybe Coach Richt heard you.

Guess I will get to the point. I see a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. The offense should be under the gun this year, much like the defense was last year. Talking about turnovers, lack of effort, and yes . . . . play calling. Jerry only hires those that he thinks can do the job. Whether you like or dislike the Cowboys, looks like they are favored to represent the NFC. That would be Coach Grantham's defensive line that is leading the cause.

This weekend is going to be a game to watch and see how much difference there actually is, as compared to years past. Not only the DEFENSE, I am going to pay a lot of attention to the offense.

Go Dawgs!

sadlerdawg, no doubt you have your guns loaded with wlaytons, that is a good sign . . . . . :woohoo: :woohoo:

RabunDog, ordered another half bushel this morning. Have to stock my freezers up again, green boiled peanuts, a must in football season. :)

Also looking forward to seeing Trinton back on the gridiron. If this young man can make a comeback, which is a tough thing to do, takes the offense up another giant step. I have total respect for him. This young man stays healthy throughout his UGA career, makes huge money next step up. Our left side of the offensive line would be awesome with Clint, and Trinton. Fingers crossed Trinton, you are a warrior!!! :woohoo:

I am excited.
I think the energy is back.
All Murray has to do is manage the game.
I'll be down at my cabin in the Georgia Mountains enjoying a great start to a great season.
Even though I have season tickets I won't be in Athens for this one.
GO DAWGS!!!!!!

Buc, You are correct. In addition to my numerous rants about the D last year, I also had issues with the offense. I was disappointed a few years ago when CMR gave up the play calling duties. I just don't think CMB has been creative enough with the tools he has on O. Hopefully with AM, he can be a bit less vanilla with his play calling. Hopefully CMR takes a bigger role in the play calling than before.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!
