Game by game (FINALLY!) from dapolla:
Georgia 55, UL-Lafayette 10
Unfortunately, we won't shut out ULL, but we will score on them. I don't consider 55-10 to be a blowout, though; we won't have to try to score 50. We SHOULD score 70 with the offense we have.
Georgia 21, SCarolina 10
WHAT? Yeah, I know, but our defense will be better this year, and it will be something Stephen Garcia's never seen, especially from us. Practices are closed, so Spurrier won't be able to prep either, and their first game (against Southern Miss) will be tougher than ours.
Georgia 45, Arkansas 35
Yeah, they'll score on us. Ryan Mallet can't be stopped that easily. But Petrino's never (in Atlanta, at Louisville, or at Arkansas) been able to prove that he can defend anything at all, ever. And with the weapons on offense (Caleb, Washaun, Marlon Brown, AJ, Kris Durham, a Wild Dawg formation featuring Branden Smith AND Logan Grey, and oh yeah Aaron Murray) that we have, we'll be able to score on their porous D. Plus we're at home this time. Advantage: HEDGES!
Georgia 24, MSU 17
This one'll be closer than it should be. Count on a tenacious D from the Impostor Bulldogs, but not on them scoring. Next year's the year we'll probably have to worry about MSU.
Georgia 27, Colorado 13
This will NOT be a 14-13 affair like the 2006 game in Athens. The last time we travelled this far West, we beat Arizona State like a redheaded stepchild. No reason to believe we won't do the same to a much worse Colorado team in Boulder.
Georgia 34, Tennessee 31
Derek Dooley is a GOOD COACH, y'all! Plus he'll have half the season to prep for us. Don't count on Georgia laying down yet again for the Vols. Last year was a total embarrassment, as were 2006 and 2007. Don't think CMR wants to finish the decade 1-4 in his last five games against the Urnge.
Georgia 38, Vandy 14
Sorry, Coach Caldwell. I don't care how much the press likes you; we're going to smoke you like a turkey.
Georgia 38, Kentucky 24
Um, yeah. We haven't lost to Kentucky twice in a row in our history. We haven't even failed to beat them two years running since 1939-40, when we lost in '39 and tied them in '40. We beat the Wildcats this year. No problem.
Georgia 24, Florida 31
Yeah, I just can't bring myself to predict a win over UF, even though I think we have what it takes to beat them. Just can't really make it real in my head.
Georgia 63, Idaho State 0
If the gap is any closer than 63 points, I may kick down the hedges and tackle Todd Grantham. Because that would be bullcrap. And he's a grown man; he should know that!
Georgia 28, Auburn 27
I agree on this one. Nailbiter. Plus, we haven't beaten Auburn five years running since since 1944-48, which was part of a 9-year stint of not losing to Auburn (we tied them in '49 and beat them three years running from '50-52). I'm not saying Auburn's any better than they were last year, but it'll be scary.
Georgia 42, Tech 20
Sorry, Coach Johnson. We've got your offense figured out, and your defense continues its decline. This will not be a repeat of your first game between the hedges.
Georgia 13, Alabama 30 (SEC Championship)
That's right, folks, I've got us winning the East this year. Unfortunately, I don't see Alabama losing enough SEC games to be out of the running for the East. They might lose once (either to Florida or Auburn (and if you don't believe me about the Tigers, watch last year's game!)), but no one in the West will have fewer than two SEC losses. 'Bama murders us in Atlanta, but with an 11-2 record and a Georgia Dome appearance we go to...
THE SUGAR BOWL
Georgia 33, Cincinnati 21
I don't see Cincy falling back enough without Brian Kelly to lose to a single Big Least opponent this year. However, this January will be a repeat of last year's trip to New Orleans for the Bearcats, and Georgia finishes with a 12-2 record and a #2 ranking in the AP poll, but a #4 ranking in the Coaches' Poll (behind national champ Alabama, #2 Boise State (who goes undefeated but despite a #5 preseason ranking fails AGAIN to make the BCS National Championship Game and instead destroys Pac-10 champ Oregon State in the Fiesta Bowl), and #3 Nebraska, who after going undefeated comes up just short in their first MNC game appearance since Miami destroyed them in 2001.
