Georgia 38, Louisiana-Lafayette 10
This will be a lot closer than it should be because the Dawgs don’t want to give anything away in preparation for their trip to Columbia the next weekend. Plus, Murray will have first-start Jitters that need to be worked out and a new defensive scheme will take the field for the first time.
Georgia 17, South Carolina 21
The Ole Ball Coach clips us here. We’re traditionally slow to start the season, and the offense won’t click. Murray throws 3 picks.
Georgia 35 Arkansas 31
Things start to come together in the first SEC home game for the Dawgs. Murray begins to hit his stride and Grantham’s defense limits Mallet to 3 touchdown passes and 300 yards.
Georgia 38 Mississippi State 17
Things continue to run along smoothly.
Georgia 34 Colorado 24
Dawgs start slow on the road in Boulder but pull away in the second half.
Georgia 31 Tennessee 24
An emotional game with CVD’s son on the opposing sidelines, but Dawgs get their revenge against a lackluster Tennessee squad.
Georgia 42 Vanderbilt 17
Georgia blows out Vandy at homecoming.
Georgia 38 Kentucky 27
Trap game. A lot closer than it should be.
Georgia 24 Florida 38
Not another 40–something-to-single-digit blowout, but UF still wins comfortably. Dawgs aren’t ready to win at this level.
Georgia 45 Idaho State 6
Dawgs use this game to blow off some steam. Richt won’t let them take the score over 50 on the little team though.
Georgia 28 Auburn 27
Georgia wins a nail-biter on the plains.
Georgia 35 Nats 31 (overtime)
Another COFH classic.
SEC: 2nd East
Bowl Game: Capital One vs. Penn State, Georiga 35 PSU 20
Final record: 11-2
Final ranking: 7

Can't really argue with you on your predictions. Games 2 and 3 could flip flop and those two games ARE critical. MSU could also be a trap game at their place. 11-2 would be an outstanding year and a great "set-up" for 2011 when I believe we can win it all.
Would take a worse record if we could get a win over UF though.

Can't argue with those predictions or an 11-2 record either. Only thing I will challenge is the scoring. We will run the ball, run it again and then run it some more. Our D will be better in scoring defense too. Way too many high scoring games in your predictions. Don't think the scoreboard will be lit up to that degree. If we are in some shootouts that 11-2 record may be a stretch as AM will be throwing the ball more and possibly exposing his lack of SEC experience at QB and looking a lil like our red headed step child from last year.

Sounds Bout right, I do think SC could go either way. As Ive said before if we run the ball 7 out of 10 times against SC. I think we break um down the 2nd half and win . But if Bobo insist on throwing and throwing we will lose to SC IMO. I do for whatever reason feel like we upset the gaytors this year simply because DC strong is gone and that is really going to hurt Fla more than people think IMO. He is there biggest loss. GO DAWGSS!!!!!!

I'm usually not this optimistic but for whatever reason, wishful thinking maybe, I really think the Dawgs will arrive in J'ville with no losses.
There will be some nail biters for sure but I feel if they can hold the turnovers and penalties to a minimum it's a good possiblity. What happens after that, I have no clue but returning from J'ville with no losses would be the ultimate and cause me to take a few extra days off from work. :woohoo:
I think the team attitude is there for it to happen. GO DAWGS!!!!

I want to be optomistic BUT reality sets in - guess I'm expecting too much - I do think play will be much different than we've seen in the past - especially on defense - but you usually don't go thru this much change without some growing pains
We loose 3 games
SC - yes lakatos blanked them out last year - but the chickens usually collapse at end of year and do not play as good as at the first
Ark - we will just not be able to hang
Aub - we'll be tired - 11 weeks without a break
2 wins better than last year - not bad for a transition year
