The thing that strikes me about this season above recent years is that now we have talent on the coaching side of the ball. Okay, so I'm talking about the D only...really, the offense has done fairly well even when all the pieces on the field weren't there. Now we have CTG and a ton of underrated talent. I've said it before: this team is going to sneak up on a few people...specifically SC and Arky, but only because after that, the cat will be out of the bag in terms of what the Dawgs have built. I also like the fact that so much press has been written about how AM will struggle this year. I'm not going to believe he has a flawless year, but there are some pretty strong indications that CMRs faith in AM is well placed. I'm also not buying the Dawgs-are-too-thin-at-WR bull that is being passed around. Let's face it; playing wide out next to AJG has to be like playing back up to Herschel...sure, you might be great, but the guy ahead of you is always going to be better. Still, we've got some speed on this team, we've got talent where we've lacked it for years, and we've got some hungry Dawgs. I say bring on September. Hell, bring on the gators. This year might well be the year we shake more than one malaise. (apologies to Averagedawg for piggybacking on his point-well made as it was.)
