Georgia fans in Tn

This message is for Georgia fans in the state of Tn.

There are a great number of automobile license plates in this state that represent every college in the SEC but none is available for UGA. This really irks me as I would like to have a plate on my cars representing UGA. I do not have an exact amount, but think the cost would be around $80 per plate.

In researching this I have found that 1000 reservations for a UGA tag need to be received before Tn will issue a UGA tag. I then contacted the Ga alumni association in Athens and found out that they tried to get the 1000 needed in 2006/7 and were unsuccessful and dropped their effort, refunding those that had signed up. I was told that they could not get even 250 to sign up for this.

Do we collectively know 1000 Ga people in TN willing to do this? Or can we use our Ga fans in TN networks?

Is anyone interested in this? I have the Ga alumni phone number, but do not know if it is appropriate to put it on here. Steve, what say you?

I am not an Alum but have been a fan over 30 years. I would be interested. AverageDawg is in Nashville,I believe. I am in the Memphis area. We have another on here named MemphisDawg. We need something!! I'm so sick of seeing those Vols national championship plates I could puke ORANGE. What's worse is my Sister's family lives in North Carolina and my niece just made the Tennessee Cheer Team. My niece asked if I would come see her cheer, I responded \"yes, when you play Georgia, and I'll have on all my Georgia gear\"! She didn't like that. Matter of fact, I'm going to see my niece graduate next month and I refuse to go through Knoxville. I'm going through Atlanta instead.
