Turns out that Grantham worked under Saban too. Besides Foster, everyone we've been after has worked for Saban at some point. Sounds like the \"Mike Holmgren\" or \"Bill Walsh\" \"coaching tree\" for offensive geniuses.

Coach Saban wanted Coach Grantham to be his DC with the Dolphins. Means Saban likes what he has seen and taught to Coach Grantham.

I am starting to worry some now about Grantham heading our way. Think that his price tag has probably moved up considerably since the Cowboys have picked up the pace. Patience, that is what I keep saying to myself. Patience . . . .

averagedawg, you can bet I remember PoncedeLeon back in the day. Spent time in the ballpark across from Sears watching the Atlanta Crackers. Big Magnolia tree in centerfield, no fence. Train passing through behind the billboards in right field. The smell that one can never get these days in the squeaky clean stadiums. I carry many memories of growing up in Atlanta. . . .

Yeah I love this site, I even try to follow most of their rules, which is unlike me at all! Its nice to have a place to come talk and not be expected to pay $120/year just for the privilege, although Im sure by our membership here we are obligated to buy the site admins a beer if we see them at the bar......

Rivals and UGAsports are reporting that Grantham has accepted the DC! I dont have a pay account, so if someone who does; go in there and check it out. Also, DP and Tom Dienhart are tweeting it also. Im not sure if these reports are true or not. So if someone could check and let the rest of us know? I hope they are!!
