wlayton ,
I've heard it's Smart and that Smart and Garner do not get along.
Could we have a Jimbo Fisher deal in the works?

wlayton, a bit envious . . . .
Really appreciate the fact that you share the information that you have with the rest of us.
MNC being played tonight, so if it is CKS, should hear something soon.
Here is one thought that I have, for what it is worth . . . .
CKS is going to be a head coach, probably in the not too distant future. Good for him, maybe the better choice for us might be Coach Grantham. Grantham might like UGA and stay with us like ERK did. Also would hate to see RG leave UGA, man is a solid recruiter.

While I hope KS is the man...I pray that the amount of press that seems to be swirling on this doesn't take away from tonights game. I want Bama to SPANK the REAL UT's ass! I seem to recall a boatload of bad press and hard feelings from Free Shoes when CMR was the main topic of discussion at their bowl game...FSU lost and their O was anemic...Someone's mind was elsewhere!!!

Yeah averagedawg, I thought the same thing about KS becoming a \"coach in waiting\", but CMR is too young to strike that deal (imo). He has many years to go in the coaching business.....geez, he's a youngster.
Buc, I would hate to lose RG as well. Great recruiter as we all know. That being said, I firmly believe that CMR is the main reason kids/parents want to come to UGA. Also believe a KS would make up the difference. Very charismatic guy.

I agree with that, but I've also thought there's a possibility Coach Richt may choose to answer a higher calling in the (possibly near) future, opening the \"coach in waiting\" door. Not saying I'm hoping for that, just thinking it's possible.
