Who do you want to be our new D Coordinator?

DawgnLA, that was the 1st thing that came to my mind this morning too when I read it in the paper. Believe he will still stay unless he's totally ticked off at UT and MB. Love to have him back but why would he leave?....he would be taking on unnecessary risks coming back to UGA.....he's already a proven commodity and a future HC.

Going to be real interesting as to how the UT defense plays in \"The Game\". Muschamp's stock could go sky high with a superior effort. (As if it is not already sky high) The game rates very high with me because of Coach Muschamp's ability to change things up, do the unexpected, make things work. Truly looking forward to this game.

No I was not joking with the FCA comment. They all seem to be soft. I do not want a QB like Brunnell laughing and smiling with opponents after games either.

I assume you are a smart guy as most are here, but you present a false choice. There are millions and millions of people who are great leaders who do not participate in groups like FCA.

I do not care about a coaches or players personal life and that includes spirituality. Besides we have seen what FCA coaching can produce as far as discipline goes. I have never known an undisciplined drill sergeant. Discipline has been a problem for us as has been lack of focus and lack of fire.

I am on record here from years ago with Richt and his coaches for the too nice, touchy feely God loves all the little children approach to football. Though I may or may not share spiritual views with Richt that does not change the fact he is paid a kings ransom to win football games. That is his primary responsibility.

And the example of Bowden is terribly flawed since he was just run out of town after a nearly decade long string of mediocre seasons. I pious man may have had the humility to retire long ago before his hubris tanked the entire FSU program. And don't get me started on the arrogant Mrs. Bowden.

Couple of things.

Word out of Athens is that while the search is going on for the new DC, if any info is \"leaked out\" by ANYBODY within the staff.....they will be fired.

Also, heard that CMR asked for permission to talk to Ellis Johnson, DC for South Carolina.

Looks like Tyrone Nix of Ole Miss may be the next Forida DC.

I would be happy with Ellis Johnson. He is an aggressive coach from what I can see and has had the SC defense generally well prepared for how untalented they usually are.

Hey Yall, I am sitting here thinking, What has Damon Evans done here at UGA since he has been our AD, Yeah a good face man ambassador or what have you, But he has let BVG the best DC we have had since erk get away, our Bball program has turn into a joke, And In my Opinion if he cant get KS here who is a dawg himself and the best DC match for us then he has failed again!! I know ellis johnson is a great DC, But KS is a Dawg an I believe would put much more true passion in the DC job, why should we settle for 2nd best? Evans needs to produce NOW!!! Look at radakovich at GT he goes out and gets CPJ and turns them around, why should we settle? I dont want someone who plays face and says the right things as our AD I want someone who will produce Get results Not a Figure head. Time to put up or shut up, This DC hire is as important to our program as we will see, It will define our football programs future, he cannot mess this up agian!!!! BRING KS HOME NOW!!!
