The fact is, they shouldn't read the message boards at all. Let's face facts: none of us knows what the hell we're talking about, not really. Not unless there are actual players and coaches posting do we really know what goes on in practice, what is said in the locker room and in the huddle. The players know, and the coaches know. They know what needs to be fixed; they just might not know how to fix it.

I agree, dapolla, but it seems that they are. Some posts on twitter and other places would lead me to believe that. So if some of the players perform like they did Saturday, then read message boards expecting sunshine to be pumped up their you-know-what's, they have no concept of the passion of the Dawg nation.

Twitter should be banned for football players during football season. Sorry if that makes me a PATRIOT ACT fascist, but it's the way it should be until January 9th. Period.

I think you're correct sadler, I think most players do read the message boards and that's exactly why Michael Moore sent out his tweet...At least MM shows that he understands that the UGA fanbase will be upset after such a frustrating performance. I for one am glad he took the time to address the fans and say, \"hey, we understand you're mad but we really need your support in these times of trouble\".

Where do I Start, First of all we all as Bulldawgs are upset, and we should be. I feel bad for some of the players who were giving it everything they had but I personally think most of the Defense Quit on Sat. and to me that is it or should be for DC WM. I have not seen a GA defense
play with such a lack of urgency they looked like they were just going through the motions and the Offense looked like they were trying but were in fog of confusion and our QB looked scared an panics to much. I hate saying this dont get me wrong. And I dont mean to offend anyone I love these Dawgs but we need to go ahead put in our future QB for next yr cause this team looks lost
and prepare for next yr. This looks like the worst team under CMR and DC WM must go at the end of yr. and if we can get Kirby Smart that would be great. I truly believe with that we can be a great
team next yr. The Dawgs just need to stop and Refocus and go back to the Basics.

Well then, herein lies the answer. If the Dawgs ARE reading the message boards, here's what I'd like them to know.

Step the heck up. Play like the red and black means something to you. If you lose, but play with heart, good. If the motors are running for 60 minutes, we'll notice. We'll notice when they aren't, too. Don't expect us to accept mediocre play from players who are miles above mediocre. This team can still salvage the season. Ask yourselves this: how do you want the '09 Dawgs to be remembered? The worst ever? How about a hell of a team that decided it had had enough and stepped into the shoes it was given when they signed to play here? Kick some ass, or go down trying, but show us something, anything, that might indicate you care as much about those uniforms as we do. We don't play. We might not know K-rap about football in reality, except that we love our Dawgs. Step up. We're fans. We're fickle. We can forgive the first half of this year if the second half is a half season of heart, of passion, of damn-it-I'm-a-DAWG football. Step up. Man up. Make us proud, if not in victory then in the manner of our defeat.
