sadlerdawg, many of us on this board were saying that the first game would probably shape the rest of this season. I hope that will not be the case, however, South Carolina . . . . we really need this game. I draw much satisfaction whenever I get to see that \"look\" on SS's face when he knows that the Dawgs have put it on his fanny again. Never, ever again do I want to see a SS coached team leave Athens with a victory. Go You Silver Britches!

That way you know what you've got.\" The first time I ever heard him say this, he was referring to his first game as Georgia's head coach, a 31-3 thrashing by Alabama in Tuscaloosa. From there in, Georgia proceeded to defeat every remaining SEC opponent save Auburn (this, at the time, included defeating Tech 7-0). That first team went 7-3-1 and won the Sun Bowl, and it turned the tide of Georgia football not only away from the Johnny Griffith years, but from the failure of the last decade of Wally Butts' career (minus the '59 SEC title, that is).

I agree with Goose. I think after this weekend, we'll know even better what we've got.

Im holding out hope that they right the ship and move in the right direction, right after the game I was upset but after cooling down and realizing that bobo lost two of the best college players to the first round made me realize that adjustment time is needed. Im still not sure that cox is the answer but we will see in the next week or two, he needs to quit spouting off about guys that he says have never played a down are doing all the bitching. I am hoping logan gets a little bit more playing time to see what he can do, if the line isnt very good then he can move around to create some time.

I still hate the defensive reads and that game is not how you cover one of the best receivers in the land, you put someone on him and make that his assignment all day.

And I will say the GF has written off all games for the year but then shes a girl, what does she know?
