Gray will definitely get some playing time. How much, I think, depends on Cox's ability to get it done. I feel good about Joe Cox but time will tell.

this is true, but not everyone catches on. my dad always said \" you cant polish a terd\" and while i am not refering to cox. i can think of 1 qb coach richt couldnt polish. im not sold on the whole cox thing yet. i still want logan to start. d's will have to prepare for more with him on the field

Coach Richt said at SEC Media Days something to the effect of \"Until you win some games convincingly, the backup quarterback is everybody's favorite player.\" I was a proponent of letting DJ Shockley prove himself when everyone was hyping Blake Barnes and Joe Cox coming in, and I was a proponent of letting JoeT3 prove himself when everyone was hyping Matthew Stafford. As you can see, I was right 50% of the time. JoeC is a 5th year senior. He's a talented QB, and he hasn't lost a start. Period. Let's see what he can do before we anoint Logan Gray or Mettenberger or Murray. I like Joe a lot. A LOT.

I love JC, it's just my prediction that LG is going to beat him out before we play UF, that's all. Believe me, all the QB's are fighting it out.

I'm not knocking JC, just believe LG will take over before the middle of the season. AND averagedawg is right anyway....D wins championships, which REALLY bothers me about UF having the whole D back plus backups!!!!! NOT GOOD people!! They may have the best D in the country (or Bama).
