I Have a Confession

Geez, I reread palmetto's post and it looks to me like he's saying the same things, just in a different way. My prior post complimented Tim.

This is getting tiring.

But, since you brought up the subject of how great a guy Tim Tebow is, I felt I had to respond. I do not have to respect Tim Tebow. I do not have to like him. And I don't. I think he's a whiny, homeschooled, overly sheltered crybaby who happens to be a fantastic athlete. I do not think that he broke down because he loves his team and his fans so much as because he lost a football game he didn't think he should have lost. It's not unlike Matt Leinert after the 2006 Rose Bowl saying that the better team lost.

What part of this was the compliment? And it doesnt have to be tiring for you. You have already turned your back on this and wrapped it up for me. So I guess you could just turn your back and wrap it up like you said, and be doen with it.

To clarify: wlayton was the one who said that his prior post complimented Tim Tebow. Not my post. wlayton was also the one who said that this was getting tiring. Not me. The dawgs.com folks know me. I can go all day long.

Also, earlier in this thread I said that I thought Tebow should have won the Heisman last year, as he was the best college football player in the country in 2008. That would be considered a compliment in some circles, especially since Sam Bradford and not Tim Tebow won the thing in 2008. I did not think he deserved it when he won it, in 2007. But then, Herschel deserved the Heisman in 1980 but won it in 1982. History is littered with that sort of thing.

I guess being a girl on this post means I can respond to GATORStrong with a gentler approach. I do still find it really funny you guys assume I am a boy. I do like to be objective, but I still am all Georgia, all the time. Just catch me on a game day and that will be very clear.
