For all of those who did not watch the G-Day game on ESPN, and who are still worried about an \"explosive\" DE...I say FEAR NOT. We have a kid on our depth chart named Justin Houston.

JEEZ LOUISE!!! Anyone else see this kid tear around the line all dawg-gone day long? I'm already a fan. What do you all think of him?

Really appreciated his moves at the line of scrimmage. Power, speed, moves that were more the style of someone with much more playing time. Also liked one of my favorites, Carlton Thomas. This young man is \"special\" also. Read the line movement like a veteran. Disappointed with the \"drops\", reminded me of a couple of years ago . . . . hang on to the pigskin. Drops like these open playing time up for incoming freshmen.

I was also very impressed with CT, Buc. You didn't lie: that kid is good-looking. Great burst off the line and up the middle. Did you see that rocket pass Aaron Murray threw in the 3rd quarter? What a missile strike that was! I feel good about our offensive weapons coming up.

Houston and CT both played very impressively. I thought Troupe had some good snags as well. The D as a whole looked pretty good, which is a plus. Now if we can just work on those dang dropped passes.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

dapolla, CT left many players in Central Florida looking for an answer. He is a natural and will not back down, great hands. Think that I have said it before, reminds me of Warrick Dunn, that ain't bad. With the possibilities of a QB with scramble skills, sure will put a lot of pressure on the opposing D.

sadlerdawg, was a bit perturbed with that drop by Troupe, but he did show up after that. I know that he has good speed and was heavily recruited. If this young fellow has his head right, he will play a lot of \"great\" football at UGA. Like one of the announcers said today, CMR will have a lot of \"tape\" to run by the wannabes.

As I post this my mind reflects back to Houston, he was really, really fast off of the edge.

AM has that thing that sometimes separates the good QB's from the average QB's. He understands the game, thought he showed a lot of field presence today, not too shabby for the short time he has been in this offense. He does have a rifle. Damn, I love football.

Feel sure many have read this article. Worth posting for those that haven't. This is the spirit that makes folks like me glad to say that I am a supporter of the plan in Athens. This young man will play this year, in my opinion. Coach Dungy gave Orson a truthful explanation as to why UGA is a great school, with a head coach that is about football, but also about life. Leadership skills, may we never have that problem again. Go Dawgs! :woohoo: :woohoo:
