4/3 Defense

I know I'm late to the party, but I just watched that video clip.

Holy...heavenly...GOD!!! I knew what was going to happen, because I read the story and read these posts, but it still blew me away. I put both hands up to my head and exclaimed out loud. Bad news when you watch a YouTube video at work.

Hey golferdawg......probably the greatest (sorry, geartest)thing I've ever seen in sports was when Nicklaus won his last Masters at age 47. Unbelievable back nine that will ALWAYS be in the history books. Those 2 head to head with both in their primes and with the same equipment?.........I believe I would have to put my money on Jack (or at least 6 out of 10 times).

Ah, the beauty of different eras. Tiger has brought fitness and athleticism into the sport- changed the whole landscape! I believe that during a practice round at the Masters, while playing with Tiger, Jack was interviewed by a reporter who asked how good this young player could be. Jack replied and then was asked if he thought Tiger could challenge his Majors record. Jack, who also was playing with Arnold that day, replied, \"This kid could win as many Majors as Arnold and I combined\". I would have loved to see Jack and Tiger go at it today. Jack would have been a totally different player in today's game with a fitness coach, today's equipment, etc. I've got to go against you on this one, wlayton. I still have to go with Tiger, my friend. What do you think golferdawg?

watson, now I did say 6 out of 10 times, not a big conviction on my part. Don't know if you really saw Jack in his prime. Nobody in all of sports was more mentally tough than Jack and yes, I know TW is mentally tough as well. If you watch Tiger though, he CAN get a little wild on occassion, never saw that in Jack......so consistent, so tough and would bury you when he got you down (I know, TW does too). Fun stuff though....

It would be fun to watch!

Guess today ended it for TW in this tournament, however would like to throw this name into the game. Billy Casper, dude could play.
