Excuses (Loss to Gators)

There are no excuses to be made regarding this loss to the gators. They beat us. But, this is still my team and will always be my team.

Lots of talk about next year now. Well, we will be better. It is not a given that anyone will leave for the pros, but if they do good luck to them. This is a very young football team. If you look at the roster, it is comprised mostly of sophmores and freshmen. Think about that for a minute.

We will be better next year and have some good recruits coming in. Our lines will be more mature, both mentally and physically. I have hopes that we can go undefeated the rest of this year, and put it all together next year.

Isn't it interesting how we're left feeling after a loss. We hate it. The taste is foreign to us. We bitch and complain. Blame the refs. Blame the coaches. Thing is, we got beat. Yes, the score should have been closer if we hadn't shot ourselves in the foot at critical points in the game. Like you said, momentum is key. I think what gets missed in all this is that we are still likely to be 10-2 at the end of the season. We're spoiled, Dawgs. 10 wins are becoming the norm under CMR and I love it, personally. We'll have our year. Not this one, maybe next, but whatever the case, this program is top notch. Losing sucks, but nobody is guaranteed an unblemished season, but despite this, I'll keep CMR and thank God I'm a Dawg fan.

I agree. No matter what, we lost the game. I must say though. Even the T.V. announcers noticed the one sided calls the refs were making. That however did not lose us the game. Maybe 7 points, not the game. We got beat fair and square. I'm just glad GatornGA is a class act. Nothing worse than the normal jort wearer.

All I have to say is \"OUCH\". Gator bites hurt.

The Gators were running like a well oiled machine and the Dawgs machine just wasn't hitting on all cylinders. Congrats to the Gators.

That changes the season outlook but there is a new game next week. CMR needs to get in there and give the boys a tune up.

I can't agree more Steve. CMR and this team have to look ahead now. We all said that we would see what this team was made of after a whooping by Bama and it is now once again time to see the heart this team has.

One game at a time to win out and go bowling. As I said before this does sting a bit, but I love this program and these guys that are bustin' their humps everyday to be the best.

Man, It's STILL great to be a Georgia Bulldog!
