Sometimes the passion overrides the filter and thought process before it hits the worl wide web in this case. I too have watched this forum for years before getting active on the posting end and have nothing but respect for Steve and all that make this post possible and worth visiting daily(sometimes hourly). I think Duck already apologized and realized his emotions got the best of him. Besides there is not a player out there who has not already been called worse or has not already taken a verbal lashing during his time playing football. Thick skin has to come in the package with the national spotlight(ask Vince Young). I agree this is not the place, but a player will not suffer from what us sometimes irrational fans say. Welcome aboard MimbsLuvsDawgs, great post. I too visited this site daily before taking the leap and started posting. And this is by FAR the BEST fan forum in ALL of college football. Your right Buc, some people cannot handle the plethera of knowledge he possesses. Plus it makes the school they pull for look stupid. I also believe that Steve stops alot of it before it starts, Good job Steve and Dapolla.
