Ok...so here is my first post ever and I'm a little nervous! First of all, for the past 2 years, I have always checked out this post each day to get the scoop on our boys. I have respect for this forum and the fans on here. With that being said, I have to state that I'm bothered by some statements made about our boys, coaches, and the game in general. The last thing that our team needs is to hear negativity!! Yes, the game was a tough win and there are definitely things that we need to work on, but calling a 19/20 year old kid an \"SOB,\"......come on!!!! I'm sure that this kid is beating himself up enough as is!! We need to acknowledge that changes need to be made and show support!! I'm confident that our awesome coaching staff will work with our boys. They always start out slow at the beginning of the year. There was no way that SC wanted to lose 2 games straight!! They needed this upset to get some respect back. This team that played today was not the same team that lost to Vandy!!
I hope I don't get beat up by stating this, but it hurts me to see \"fans\" call kids things that they shouldn't!! If this kid was soooooo bad, he wouldn't be in there to begin with. Every team will have ugly wins, but a win is a win and we can work on getting better each week. The team that wants it the most will win! Please don't think for a minute that our team doesn't know about this post and read what it written-what a way to show support than to call young kids names. I can't say that is classy. Once again, sorry if I step on any toes, but I'm offended as a fan!
Go Dawgs!!!!
