Tripp Chandler...good lord how I want someone to take his spot. I think he was the major factor in our loss to Scar last year

2 dropped 25 yard plus passes, 2 dropped tds.
and these dropped passes werent the kind where he was leaping high over his head, got a fnger on it but he just didnt have the height to reach it. these dropped passes were in his chest and he had both hands on them.

he DID improve but Geez.....

He had a great rest of the season....don't worry about him, he will be fine.

I agree wlayton. It's a learning curve and Tripp has moved to the next level.

He received a lot of flak for his first half, and deservedly so. But in my opinion he was the hero of the game against Vanderbilt. He made catch after catch in Nashville, including the one that put Coutu in position to kick the only game-winner of his career. Plus, he knows he's got Bruce Figgins -- a fine young man -- on his tail, hankering after his job. He'll perform this year, or he'll be replaced. And I think he can perform.

Figgins is a BEAST......have you seen the size of the hands on that guy!!!
