has anyone noticed how our receiver corps as a whole is great at catching difficult passes but abyssmal at catching the easy stuff right to the chest?

he weirdest thing was watching fred gibson turn into a receiver like that

I almost think it must be a training deficiency. too much work on the difficult stuff. not a lot of work on fundamentals in high stress situations

That's what it appears, swamphox. I hope they get back to the basics before the season starts.

I actually believe that our receiving corp will be a strong suit this year.

They'd better be. Both Tennessee and SCarolina are very equipped to stop the run this year, and let's not even think about beating LSU in Tiger Stadium if we can't throw over them. Just because I said I think we can (and will) go undefeated this year doesn't mean that it'll be easy. Those boys have GOT to handle what Stafford dishes out, and he's GOT to be accurate, calm in the pocket and decisive. I think the two biggest burdens this year are going to be on the shoulders of Kenneth Harris and Mohammed Massaquoi.

It speaks volumes of how good Harris and massaquoai are when Durham is still a back up. I really like that kid. Two spring games and the occasional regular season appearance.

I hope he sees more playing time this year.
