UGA Thoughts

Great point Doc. The whole of where we are at right now, as a fan base, as a team, as a school, is based in faith. It's about staying true to what matters, regardless of yesterday, and looking forward to the day when that faith yeilds its promises. I honestly think the Dawg nation is entering a period of redemption for suffering through Ray Goff, and is about to be rewarded for staying true to the red and black. Faith in God always gives up rewards like that, but college football is more fickle. It's about to get good, good people. We're about to realize the truth that our faith lead us to, that this program, this school is all it's cracked up to be. We'll be able to hold our heads high with more than Pride at being a Dawg. This year, and for years to come, we'll be able to say that this is the bar by which excellence is measured. Want some? Come get some. (But you cannot have our coach, by God.)

"The freedom of individuals to verbally to oppose or to challenge police actions without thereby risking arrest is one of the principal characteristics by which we distinguish a free nation from a police state."

Early this morning I started to post this article. Thought about it and put if off, thinking that most have read this. Here it is later on in the day, find myself looking at this article again. It really makes this old chest stick out a bit further, just another reason to respect the folks that are in charge of \"our\" young men and women. David Ching has fast become one of my favorite writers. I spent many years in the publishing business, guess I see something in this young sprout.

Thanks Buc, just another BIG feather in our cap. Makes you feel a little better about the kid's staying eligible to play.

Man, Buc, all this is starting to scare me....being a contrarian in my business......everything at UGA is going almost too perfectly.

(but I'll take it!! :woohoo: :woohoo: )

I read the same thing in the AJC. I also read where Tony Barnhart has us as his preseason No. 1. Funny, he had Auburn as his preseason No. 10. I can't quite buy that one.

All I have to say is GOD didn't want coach Richt to be an NFL QB. Seriously, losing out to the likes of Jim Kelly, John Elway, and Dan Marino doesn't seem like it was in poor CMRs destiny.

Your right. He wanted him to be the Coach at Georgia.
