Good stuff Buc. As a preacher's kid I can speak for the importance of faith. Also, I think Coach Richt (and the other coaches) are like fathers to these kids. I think the biggest problem we face as a country is the absence of fathers in kids' lives.

Hey let me slip in here. A little late, but better late than never.
CMR's character is very important to UGA's program and success, I agree. I have come to realize just over the last 3 or 4 years that Coach Richt does seem to be the real McCoy. Real McCoys are usually (though not always) successful on the surface, but they are always inspirational. CMR has it all, and it is paying dividends in many ways.

Success on the field IS NOT the most important of the ways in which those dividends are paying off, but that is what we are all enjoying the most.

Hey DawgSpeare, nothing wrong with us enjoying the boys being successful ON the field as well as OFF the field. What an awesome feeling it must be for CMR to have such a wonderful impact on these kids LIVES!!

:) :) Buc, wlayton, average,Speare,JDawg,flyindawg & all you guys:
Since my masters degree is in Ecclesial Ministry and Theology from Loyola of New Orleans, and a ordained permanent deacon for the Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta, I might as well throw in my two cents worth. CMR is not only a fine coach, he is a excellent example of a christian gentleman. CMR was a Catholic in his young \"hell raising\" days & found his faith again in the Baptist Church. God always gets what he wants from all of us, even if it is down the road a stretch. So all I can add is a big AMEN to all that was said in prior posts.
As always, GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
