Give it to Adams was created by averagedawg
Dr. Adams, president of UGA has proposed an eight game playoff for Div. 1 College Football, saying that the current system is controlled too much by one network. (I wonder who.)
I know there have been grumbings about Mike Adams, but give to to him on this. Thanks Mike.
GO DAWGS!

He is not a favorite of Bulldog fans, students or staff, but you have to give him credit for making a statement that many of us would love to be able to make.

NO, no credit and no props!
Maybe he should have jumped on board when UF president Bernie Machen tried to rally support for a playoff system from all the SEC presidents last year. He felt if the current national champ could gain the support from the rest of the nation’s best conference, then the NCAA would have to listen.
Yes, as I understand it UF’s president tried to rally support from his peers at last year’s SEC meeting but had very little support, including none from Adams.
I guess now that UGA got stung a bit, Mike Adams is all of a sudden a pioneer.
I actually laughed when I heard this news this AM.
GOOD LUCK Mr. ADAMS!!!
