Where do you stand on the GREAT ISSUE: Playoffs?

Thanks Sadler. I went down to Savannah, GA for the holidays & I've been out of the office all this week. Anyways, I'm with you on the Rose Bowl deciding my Nt'l Champ. I really hate to see OSU in the NC game but beating the TROJANS on their home turf would be an AWESOME finish to an AWESOME season for the Dawgs. It would be a great matchup, great for UGA's national publicity, great for recruiting (especially on the Left coast), great for next preseason's rankings, & best of all, great for bragging rights. I have a few bandwagon USC fan that I call friends. I am so sick of the USC love the media has been pumping for what, 5 years now, it would make my offseason a whole lot better!

Yes, because there is very little discussion of the NCAA Basketball Tournament

Remember when the argument from the NCAA was that the extra games would hurt academics. So what do they do? Add another game to the regular season. It's all about spreading the money around to the wannabes and not about the sport. So sad and unfair to the fans. This is America, not some dictatorship. Ask the kids who play the game. I'll bet my life, they overwhelmingly support a playoff.

average, there are currently 119 Div 1-A schools with 11,305 total roster players on those teams (give or take a dozen or so). I have personally talked with 3768 (1/3) of those players. 90% of them told me that they did NOT want a playoff. I said that I would be sure to report that to this forum.

If your polling is correct, I guess I'm dead. Are you sure about the hanging chads?

I interviewed the rest and they all voted yes to the playoff.
