Da'Rick Rogers

Da'Rick Rogers was created by wlayton
Rogers took a recent visit to Tenn and they’ve offered both Rogers and his BEST friend (the qb that’s committed to Vandy). Rogers actually lives with his family during the week. Looks like we’re going to have to sweat that one out.

Edit more info.

He’s always said that he’s coming to UGA, and he’s solid. However Tennessee offering his best friend (and the guy that he lives with partially during the week) and then UT getting both of the guys to visit last week makes me nervous. When reporters called last night to ask how the trip went, the father of the quarterback said that both were still committed to Vandy and UGA, but they need some down time to think… Like I said, we’ll have to sweat it out.

I don't sweat any of this recruit stuff, wlayton. I hope he comes, and he would be a great fit for UGA, but if he doesn't, OH WELL!! I'm tired of these high schoolers holding colleges hostage, having these ridiculous productions to announce their commitments, all to feed their fragile egos. The media has allowed the recruiting process to get WAY out of hand.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

I really believe that UGA has finally got (most) of the coaching problems behind us. Thinking that we are going to see more and more prized recruits heading this way because of that.

There is a really good article today that David Hale wrote about Jakar Hamilton that is worth reading.

Hope this prize receiver stays true to his word, but also am tired of all the showboating that has been taking place the last few years.

Totally agree with you sadlerdawg but when it comes to a \"difference maker\" like a AJ Green etc, I take notice......and Rogers IS in Green's league. We definitely want him to play for us and not UT!!

Buc....Hamilton is a big athlete and a big time hitter. He will have an impact THIS season at safety.

If we get the young men that have verbalized their allegiance thus far and pick up a certain \"nose tackle\" from Warner Robins . . . . folks in Athens will hear me do this :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: !!! all the way from Merritt Island, Florida.
