- SC #1 in country in pass defense
- Could be good game; definitely will be meaningful for all of SEC-E!
- Due to injuries, SC has only one linebacker available who began the
season as a starter.
- Florida, Georgia and Tennessee have nothing on the No. 8 Wildcats
(5-0, 1-0 SEC) and No. 11 Gamecocks (4-1, 2-1), who meet at
Williams-Brice Stadium in a surprising early power struggle in the
SEC Eastern Division.
- The Wildcats already own a pair of impressive victories over
Louisville (40-34) and Arkansas (42-29). Another against South
Carolina would make them 6-0 for first time since Bear Bryant's
SEC champions in 1950 opened 10-0.

I would have to pick UK as well, but D usually wins big games. Considering the SEC East, you can make a case to pull for either team. We NEED SC to have at least 2 losses at some time but wouldn't hurt to have UK with a loss too. At least we could control things if SC lost because we still have to play UK. If SC keeps winning, we're done.

I am up here in the bluegrass and believe me they are blowing it up here. Still some concerns though..

I'm with you, wlayton--if SC loses, we're back in control of our own destiny, and that can be a great motivator. Plus, the better UK is when we play them, the better it is when we beat them. Go 'cats! Beat 'cocks!
