Troy game

Fortunately for us, the Dawgs always seem to play better the week after the scathing but accurate critique by WLAYTON. Seems to me that there was some excitement in Birmingham after a half hearted/sloppy game against Western Carolina earlier this year. Again, a lot of people like to compare how other SEC teams have fared against each other. Although some parallels can be drawn, every team matches up differently and therefore no two games are the same so the neverending comparisons are meaningless!

ATHENS --Here's some math that might make a Georgia fan's stomach queasy.

Georgia rushed for 128 yards against South Carolina on Sept. 8.

Arkansas rushed for 541 yards against South Carolina last week.

Number of points Troy allowed in the five games before us COMBINED: 30

Number of points Georgia scored on Troy: 44.

Numbers are just that -- nothing more until the game is played. Last year Abuurn had one of the best defenses in the nation and only one loss. Our defense was terrible and we had three losses, including to Vandy and Kentucky. Auburn was #5. Georgia was #IT DOESN'T MATTER! 37-15 on the Plains and go Dawgs. Abuurn could have been national champs last year, if they had beaten us like they were supposed to.

Yes, we did have four losses. I swear I remember writing the word four. What's wrong with me, I'm slipping!

To me it's fairly simple but not easy. We need to control the time of possession, keep good field position and continue to have good special team play. Can't let our D be on the field too long.

Seriously I am sick and tired of worrying about our D.

It seems like every game our offense has to show up or else we may get blasted. That beating we took at Tenn. left a bad taste in my mouth. :sick:
