Troy game

I just finished watching the Troy game and I gotta tell ya, with the exception of our defensive interior linemen, Troy made our D look absolutely silly. They moved the ball on us at will, easily, effortlessly and consistently. Geez, almost 500 yards and don't think that strip by Howard that he picked up and ran to their 2 yard line wasn't BIG. They made our D look completely confused and slow at times. Very underwhelming showing by our D, they had BETTER get it together.

Yeah, the D needs to step up and set the tone early like they did in the UF game.

I've been unable to see a rebroadcast. All I have seen is the clippage of the Mark Richt show. It is not good news to hear your report wlayton, but I am not surprised. Completely agree that we have to play better all around defense.

One perspective on Saturday's game is this: UGA's strength (such as it is), offense, versus Abuurn's strength, defense. And their defensive strength is real. Auburn's weakness, offense, versus UGA's weakness, defense.

My guess is that their offense will defeat our defense to the tune of about 20 to 24 pts. If their physical defense holds Moreno & company under that figure, they win. So the outcome may come down to whether or not our offense will be able to execute at about the 27 to 30 point level. If so, we should win. But their defense is tough; word is, their defense is run by a Georgia boy...

ATHENS --Here's some math that might make a Georgia fan's stomach queasy.

Georgia rushed for 128 yards against South Carolina on Sept. 8.

Arkansas rushed for 541 yards against South Carolina last week.

Arkansas rushed for 67 yards against Auburn on Oct. 13.

Yeah, and Tebow hadn't been sacked but 4 times all year, Tebow was unstoppable, Bama was gonna beat us at home.......Stats are just that....stats. Don't mean nothin till the clock shows 0:00. Troy has rung up big numbers on everyone they have played. Arkansas wasn't healthy on the o-line against Auburn...ect, ect, ect.
