If I might . . . . Running the \"Tampa 2\" is a very tough defense to run. (If ran properly) It takes a lot of time and it is tough for these young guys to come straight out of high school and be proficient in the 2. Some high schools make an attempt at the 2, same with college squads. It is very important in the 2 to have strong rushers off of the edge. Plus, the linebackers and the DB's and safetys have to be on the same page. When you have the right personnel, that have been together for a good length of time, you have a really good defense with the 2. In the pro ranks you can see how the 2 is supposed to work, but remember, these guys are there together doing a \"JOB\". These young players have school and other things that limit the time that they can spend on the field. I go along with the theory that Willie is not a master at the 2, so once again, \"Let the Dawgs loose.\" I am not beating him up at this moment, just think that he needs to design the defense to his players, not the players to a defense that is extremely difficult and can not be taught properly in their short tenure. Noticed since the Florida game we have moved a DT back to end, Makes a lot of sense to me, need those edge rushers. Auburn QB can hit the receiver if he has time, but, he is slow setting up. I sure hope that we put a lot of pressue on him and make AU try to run the ball. Think that is our best bet in this game. Love this fall weather, love the SEC, would love to see the Dawgs take the War Eagles. Go Dawgs!

only difference is a line backer plays deep with the safeties allowing the safeties to play out a little more ,its supposed to plug up the holes in a normal cover 2 defense,, ....

There are some differences with cover 2 wlayton, and that also has to do with personnel. For example: If you are getting a good push with the DT's or one DT it frees a linebacker and a safety to cover more of the field. Good example of that is Dungy and the Colts. You will see the safety free to, how do I say this . . . . get into the \"mix.\" Guess my main reason for saying this is that not every coach really understands what is going on, therefore it sure is hard to pass it on. Might look easy on film study, but it is more than \"dropping 2.\" Know that I did not explain that very well, just a lot of different options to the 2. You know as much about it as I do, I am sure. P.S. Had mentioned to you earlier in the year that I was up for total hip surgery. Just to let you know, I am bionic on the right side now, little more than four months. Right one is next, probably in the next four or five months. Doing great, medicine has come a long way.

Keep me posted when you are doing the 2nd hip. I've got a buddy in Ohio that is a NC in racquetball that has had both hips done and he's STILL playing (granted it's doubles now and not singles but...awesome I think, he's a great athlete)
