When the starter struggles, the backup QB becomes the most popular player on the team and a guaranteed cure for all that ails.

At this point, Kirby has earned enough trust from me that I am going to say if he thought bringing in Stockton would have given us a better chance to win and would have been best for team, then he would have done it.

As far as the receivers go.. Who is getting the most reps now is not who was getting the same reps early in the season, and that is only one part of the puzzle; not the main argument. They've also had hands of stone. Plus again... Delp and Humphries are a huge drop off from Bowers and McConkey.

Beck does have to clean it up though... some of those decisions he has made... I have no idea what he saw or what he might have been thinking.

Not soon enough to salvage a potential championship run this season. The change will come after they blow a game due to bad reads, stupid throws, and "miscommunication."  

The scary thing is that Beck is eligible for another year because he's a covid baby. We may have to wash, rinse, and repeat this next season if we continue hearing that "we don't win that game without Beck." I don't think Kirby is lying, but man that's a sad testament to our QB room. That basically says that our backups are even worse than this. Wow.
