Just like our first game we got exactly what we needed in game two. Cutting through the hype and stats it was a growing opportunity for quality depth. As I posted earlier many teachable moments for our coaches.
KD makes a point that Beck was slightly off on some throws and questions if it's possible to overthrow Smith.
Smith did have to slow up to make the catch however he had a huge separation from the defender. Might be Beck opted to hang it and let Smith play centerfield making a easy fly ball catch.
Beck second game still has fine tuning to do with his receivers. Game competition has a different vibe than practice.
