UGA's defense limited Kentucky's star RB Ray Davis to 59 yards on 15 carries, a week after he rushed for 280 yards vs. Florida.
After the game Kentucky HC Mark Stoops said "They kicked our butt." A couple of days later he added, "I can promise you -- Georgia, they bought some pretty good players." Kirby Smart responded that Stoops was just trying to raise money for his NIL collective, like everyone else.
