The SEC passers with the best Deep Accuracy% entering Week 6 - min 6 att

1. Trask 54.6%
2. Franks 53.9%
3. Brennan 47.4%
4. Wilson 45.5%
5. Guarantano 42.3%
6. Jones 41.7%
7. Corral 34.8%
8. Nix 33.3%
8. Hill 33.3%
10. Costello 29.4%
10. Bennett 29.4%

SEC AVR = 37.2%

Our highest ranked yards per reception guy is Jackson, ranked 12th in the SEC.

We've got 1 receiver (Jackson again at #8) in the top 30 in total receiving yards in the SEC. Alabama has 3 in the top 10 all ahead of him and 4 in the top 30. Their 4th in receiving yards is an Alabama RB and he is ahead of our #2.

We are way behind last year in yards per carry in the rushing game and have very few explosive plays there as well. Teams are stacking against the run and daring us to beat them over the top, and we don't have the athletes and ability to do it. All of this with a new OC who is widely lauded for his creativity.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Great stats to share Wartdawg!

Makes me worried though. This really seems to limit our scoring ceiling. At least our likelihood to post crooked numbers on a regular basis.

Glance at the Top 10 offensive scoring teams, they throw it down the field efficiently.

The visit to Tuscaloosa taught us, ALL facets of the team need to improve, including (especially?) QB play.

Is JTD still hurt?
I tend to believe so but am merely guessing.

I also tend to believe SB can improve, maybe not in this metric, perhaps in another.
And if SB’s positive play % rises, by how much?

How “much” is enough, to participate in and WIN 1 game on Dec. 19th?

All I really know is I’m intrigued. I have really enjoyed watching this TEAM, this YEAR.

These Dawgs play hard, with passion & intensity. I see camaraderie, cohesiveness & unity.

Really looking forward to resuming the 2020 UGA football story on Halloween.

Hunker Down Dawgs!

It's still great to be a Georgia Bulldawg, but it's going to be tough to ever beat the Alabama and Clemsons until we develop the ability to make more explosive game changing plays in the passing game.

No one has any fear that we can score at anytime, and we can't really pressure defenses to be perfect every play. Other defenses make the same mistakes our D made last game, but we can't exploit those mistakes the way the top tier teams can.

At least as of now we haven't demonstrated we could.

Yep, great to be a bulldog...

What about the non great teams?

College sports is beyond repair....greatness gets more great etc. I’m getting ready to be a klimpson fan, why not?

I’d like to see pro sports mix it up a bit. Worst team gets first two draft picks, ...second worst the next two,...

..champ gets last two in second round ...etc.

Sam Pittman....that guy is awesome! Go hawgs.

Head coaching has been a stretch for JP in Knoxville. Fran t said he couldn’t do it...Of course if you need an indoor practice facility on horseback, give cornbread a call.
