Good Morning All,

We have a little better understanding of what our 2019 coaching staff will look like.

Welcome Todd Hartley…. Dawg comes home to coach… we got a tad stronger in recruiting Florida and elsewhere with Todd’s experience.

Been heavy breathing by some because HC hasn’t named a DC….. you can bet your Cheerios it won’t be the return of Towel Toddy…. Thank you…

Still wouldn’t surprise me if HC promotes from within with one of our LB coaches…… there would still be a need for a DB coach….

I believe HC has a plan and names in mind …. Working the process with his cards close to his vest…..

May not see movement until after NSD ….. winter drills won’t suffer without a DC or DB coach…. Kirby can get done what he wants…. He has more than enough experience at both…. As I have posted early… anyone hired as an assistant needs to speak Kirby…. Don’t look for a hire taking too long to get up to speed on what the boss wishes to be done…..

April 20….. G- game ….. time has not been set… one week after the Masters so no long a conflict…. Good move…

2019 is going to be a year of change….. players and coaches …. Looking forward to seeing Coach Coley’s offense …… showcasing a mix of new and veteran players…. Don’t think we get deep into playbook until ND’s visit to Sanford…… Both ND and A & M are home games …… a very good thing….

Have posted before really excited who we have signed and who are on campus…. Working on getting in shape and getting a taste of what is ahead…..

Believe the group we have wants to be here and has stated so…. I am hearing that Robinson is working hard to become a SEC WR….

Has has stated that the SEC is a world apart from his past college playing experience ……

Weather in Athens ….. cold and wet at times…… IPF will again prove to be a blessing with winter workouts looming ….

Pause and give thanks

Have a great weekend and a safe week….

As always “Go Dawgs”

Go Dawgs!

Looking at the list of "known" players that will see action on the defense in 2019 . . . . impressive. Feel strongly that a couple of the 2019 recruits will find playing time "early".

Also, when I look at the offensive side of the ball, the changing of the guard at Offensive Coordinator, believe this edition of the offense is going to be more than a handful for opponents.

Good read yankeedawg1, BPS has long been a favorite of mine and many others.

Also like the 2019 Recruits . . . . a lot. Definitely see defensive line help, probably right away from a couple of the recruits.

Will not be surprised to see Travon lined up at tight end in a two tight end set. Travon is a football player.

Interesting tidbit....

My wifes cousin, a UGA alum just retired and bought a historic house in the classic city...walking distance from Sanford.

This house's original owner was none other than one James Wallace Butts.

Pretty cool place to hang before and after home games.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Maybe some have listened to the episode below. Brandon Adams had Mike Griffith on a portion of the segment and he said some things that interested me. When Mike first came from Tennessee to Georgia, had my antenna up, do that often when reading what those that cover football and other sports have to say. Mike said some things that ring true to me, one statement/word that has been made/said on this board a lot "continuity" is used by Mike. Maybe Mike will turn out to be a needed voice that has more than "spin" when covering UGA.

Started to post this 3 days back, hesitated, listened again and here it is . . . .

Start at the 17:10 minute mark to 36:00 minute mark.
