Worm has turned....place your bets....UT or UF .... playing in a Natty in year two of their

New HC.. tenure...... don’t see it based on talent they have or recruited...

Major difference between Georgia now and Georgia a short time back is definitely depth. Lesson not learned prior to hiring current coaching staff was very talented players get tired and nicked. Georgia now very close to having 40 or so players that can compete every Saturday when healthy. That is what Alabama has been doing under Saban. Agree with ogredawg that our defensive line needs a boost from the 2019 recruiting class. Has been said that 2019 recruiting backs up the efforts of the two classes prior to 2019. SEC East is in the early stages of becoming powerful once again. Muschamp has found his place in coaching. Mullen is blessed with a state that has a lot of talent. There has been a lot of talk over a long period about securing the State of Georgia's borders. Kirby has done some of that, but Kirby also knows that there is a lot of talent outside the borders of Georgia.

Football is getting "really interesting" . . . . again. You snooze you lose. :)

Over the years have watched many players of “size” drafted, many times it was because of “size”. Not referring solely to Georgia by any reach of the imagination. Many universities fall into this category.

When I see a big offensive lineman recruited by Sam Pittman, my issues with “size” disappear. My confidence in Pittman exceeds many that not only coach other positions, but definitely the offensive line. Sam is the reason that we seem to be deep on the offensive line for the first time, maybe ever. Sam knows what a high school player lacks in certain areas will be remedied when he becomes the sole teacher.

Isaiah Wilson comes to mind. I believe if Sam Pittman had not been the offensive line coach Isaiah would have been inserted into a starting role. Watched that many times over, over a lot of years. Wilson sat, there was some in the press that wanted to cause a stir, that however backfired. Wilson said that Sam Pittman did the right thing and he “appreciated” the way coach guided and handled him. That stopped the “stuff” that clicks are made of, Pittman (1) media (0).

Continue to think that someone on the offensive line will make the switch to defense early on. Someone like Netori Johnson possibly. Several of our offensive linemen played defense in high school, not really foreign to them.

Like the fact that Jake is looking to go deep. Media was all over Jake early in 2017 concerning the deep ball. Fromm at the Manning Camp, reminds me of AM's quest to get better a while back. Jake will be even better in 2018.
