Go Dawgs!

Good Day All,
Radom thoughts……. For years now we have viewed Alabama as the model college football team…. Tide leads everyone else chases….
I can remember postings here about was the Tide having a rebuilding year…
Or is it a reloading year…. Seems it was mostly reloading…. From a very
Deep talent pool….. of players….
IMHO….. Georgia has reached a level of reloading…. Maybe a step behind the Tide but having moved away from wholesale rebuilding..
Yes hear the chatter about the DL and our secondary along with LB’s…
Talent is there….. lacking experience ……. Following the Tide’s model
High quality players with good skill sets from HS and some early college game experience seem to grasp the challenges of playing in the SEC quicker..
I am looking forward to see who is going to be accepting being the next man up…
We know that this coaching staff plays no favorites…. And can develop a freshman into a starter in the SEC very quickly….
With this mindset …don’t see wasted talent slipping away from Athens…. A very good thing…..
Don’t think in year three….. we see the players and coaches returning to bad habits…..
Hey Buc….. who do you like in the Preakness ???? Chances for wet track.. true mudder might claim the win…
Pause and give thanks…
Have a great weekend and a safe week
As always “GO Dawgs”

Some old memories from an Old Fart". Sad to hear the passing of Andy Johnson. Ran VD's veer formation which he got from Houston. Watch him play many times on Saturday afternoons. A great person as well as an outstanding QB. Played running back for NE for 5 or 6 years. Watched the Dawgs from Wally to MR. Lost interest in making the trip to Athens after 46yrs of
season tickets. Old age has it's downside, hate to own up to that fact of life.
As always, GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!

yankeedawg1, going to wear the same colors for the Preakness. Justify looked strong in the Derby and wet did not seem to bother Justify when the gates sprang open. Strong, beautiful and well trained.
DawgDoc (Old Fart), Andy was surely cut from noble cloth. Miss being able to spend time regularly in Athens. Andy Johnson was worth the price paid for season tickets doled out by Mrs. Whitehead.

Buc...agree. Justify....could be a serious triple crown threat
Dawgdoc....Buc.... starting my sixteenth year here in the Classic City...
So much has changed in such a short time...
The new Vet college campus on College Station and Barnett Shoals is absolutely beautiful...
Epps Bridge area has exploded with new retail and restaurants.
Athens Clarke County paid the price to learn Oconee County wasn’t blowing smoke with tax cuts
to business development.. ACC slow to react but much wiser now and is listening to new ideas..
Class is out now at UGA.... spending much more time downtown on campus....magnolia trees in
full bloom....love the fountain at Herty Field... great place for picnic supper..
Go Dawgs

Interesting article. My opinion, really leaves little or no room for one of the two quarterbacks remaining in Tuscaloosa.
