You’ve all made very valid points and literally nailed it on the head. Bama couldn’t run up the gut last night and neither could we. Our pass game will have to be point in order to open up the run game against those big boys! You’ve all called it with what we should be running on O, I just hope Chaney and Smart see it the same way. There is absolutely NO way we beat them trying to run first!

If our O is producing you can bet our D will do their job. One thing that’s being over looked by most talking heads is the fact that they are coming in after a very physical game and will be a bit beat up. Most of our starters were resting on the sidelines in the 4th quarter Sat. Fresh legs and bodies will go a long ways in this game, advantage us!

Another advantage we have is we know we have to adjust to beat them, there game plan should be exactly the same as it was 3 weeks ago, advantage us! Make them make game time adjustments, that’s easier said than done at this level, advantage us!

One last thing, we came in jacked up and it showed in that first half and besides that first drive we never have any momentum. The boys won’t be over playing in this game, they learned that lesson. Also, we should have home field advantage as far as numbers in fans go. That will be BIG in this game and Fromm will be able to check out of plays at will, advantage us! It’s not going to be the same game as three weeks ago and I say that with confidence! That loss hurt but it was a blessing in disguise. I’m glad it happened then and against Auburn so we can learn and adjust and hopefully avoid a loss this time around.

Just checked on some lines. Most have Auburn at -2.5. It's normal for the line to tighten a little after the initial release. Also just found out from one of the bookmakers that Johnson is now listed as "Probable" for Saturday. In other words, he'll be out there. Someone needs to find that sore shoulder and put some more hurt on it.

Let me say first that I was wrong about Kirby and hope he remains the HC for a long time. He is the right man for the job and I said from the start of the season I would give him until after the Tech game and that anything less than a New Years 6 bowl with this talent would be a failure and we will be in a Top Tier Bowl a far cry from the last several years.

I am hoping to see an entirely different game plan than we saw on the plains 2 weeks ago. If not we will not control either lines of scrimmage and will lose, that is it in a nutshell. The LOS will win or lose this game. IMHO we need to come out passing and more passing, I would like to see Fromm throw it 30+ times to ALL the play makers we have. The OL will have to step up and give Fromm time and use the Screen Pass to our advantage.

The D needs to keep to their gaps and contain the outside and pressure Stidhem.

I believe in the D pretty much to hold their own the OL concerns me.

Agree totally that the LOS will win this game.... and agree that we need to reverse course offensively from all year and use the pass to set up the run... quick slants and RB flares and wheel routes to get their backers out of the middle then run.... when they cheat back towards the middle to stop the run, get it outside again. Seems elementary, I know, yet still.....

On a side note i see Mullen is going back to FU...i was afraid of that
