Stevedawg, think most of us over the years were hoping the program would reach a level of balance. When I look at both sides of the ball, no longer do I see one side tipping the scales more than the other. Far as I am concerned, what I see the first two years of this coaching change, we are getting closer to balancing the scale(s). Say that for this reason . . . . head coach is involved in all phases of his program, offense, defense and special teams. If I follow numbers (stats) this group of coaches are drawing closer to reaching levels that maybe myself and many others have not seen from our program . . . . ever. Yes, that includes the Natty in the 80's. Don't think that needs an explanation, given taken for granted that Herschel carried the weight of our program. Couple more good recruiting years feel that we will never have to worry about "butts in the seats", and that was beginning to happen prior to Smart and Company.
