Lorenzo Carter is a good example yd1. Coach Pruitt kicked his butt, allowed him to sit and watch from the sideline. Apparently that was solid coaching. Carter did not look like the same player after Pruitt left. What was left for him to do . . . . Coach Smart was on his way, better to listen than pout. Fully expect to see Lorenzo to have a great 2017. Carter now has Roquan Smith, a proven linebacker to cover much of the territory that many expected Lorenzo to cover prior to Roquan arriving on campus. Serious linebacking group will report in 2017.
Scooby, Cam has "always" had his way. Super talented from the shoulders down. Has a lot of great gray matter, just refuses to apply it to the rest of his body. Great legs and arms are a dynamic duo, a duo that works much better when the gray matter is used. Some never receive the message, not players alone, coaches also. Think maybe some of that is showing up on the Auburn Campus.
Expect Julian Rochester to be incredible on the defensive line in 2017. Answers a lot of questions. Supposedly spending a lot of time conditioning his body. 6'5" and over 300 pounds, going to be a lot of help to Trenton Thompson along with a couple of stout defensive ends that got their feet wet in 2016.
