Highly doubtful I will ever be back on the "bandwagon". Regardless how good Vandy is that loss did it for me. Only way I would get back on the "bandwagon" is an appearance in the ATL next year in December. Confidence is low that will happen.

Aubuurn next and Gus will be gunning for us. He will throw everything at us and make us stop it on the D side. They will stack it up in the box and make Eason beat them.

Time for Kirby and staff to get a straw and suck it up and redeem themselves on National TV and have this team ready to play and play for 4 quarters. Kirby goes conservative and predictable on the O side the Aubuurn front seven will take his lunch and eat it in front of him.

yankeedawg1, added an edit after you posted a Thank You on my previous post. May or may not want to remain.

There is another happening while he was a big shot in his early years that he skirted the issue on and his partner was fired and was fired because he needed to be fired.

Vegas Insider has posted Auburn a 9 point favorite between the Hedges. Feel sure those numbers will drop during the week.

Know this . . . . Auburn is not the best when defending the pass.

Jimmy the Greek

This sports personality’s legacy was tainted by perhaps the most iconic racist statement in the history of sport. Conveyed to a TV reporter, Jimmy Snyder said:

“The black is a better athlete to begin with because he’s been bred to be that way — because of his high thighs and big thighs that goes up into his back, and they can jump higher and run faster because of their bigger thighs. This goes back all the way to the Civil War when during the slave trading, the owner — the slave owner would breed his big black to his big woman so that he could have a big black kid.”

And that was pretty much the end of the famed handicapper’s career. Beyond that tone statement, there was little evidence that Snyder harbored any racist sentiments, but, in light of the fact that he was a public figure representing a TV station, it should come as no surprise that the network did what they did.

Now M&M has a long term contract with Musburger. Brent and Jimmy were broadcasting friends back in the day. Comments from both were relatively close in a "time span".

Truth.

My observations from the game.

Much better running the ball.
The rb's need to learn the difference in bouncing one outside and running east/west or backwards. The offensive line is not good enough to hold the speed of SEC defenses. Can't recall one successful east/west play this year from the RB's and only a few from jet sweeps etc.

Where is the intermediate pass game? every pass doesn't have to be 20+ yards.

IM needs to have his but sat down and explained football. Yes he is a dynamic player but is he worth the risk? IDK

Defense is much improved but still wayyyyy too much tackling high. Got to take the legs out from these 220-250 lb backs. Pettway will gain 200+ if they try to tackle him high.

Stupid selfish penalties are still a problem.

I am glad UGA won but it will take a near perfect effort to beat Auburn . Just being honest.

Have a good week and pray for me over here in Auburn land.

Some are wise and some are otherwise !
