Blakenship 13 points
Offense 14 points
Found a kicker finally 8 games in

Team never quit even after 3 turnovers, maybe finally buying into Kirby's system

Chaney needs to stay in the booth

The SEC is Alabama and everyone else. UGA is a long long way from being in the same league as them.

Long way to go

Liberty Bowl here we come.

Muschamp is showing improvement with Carolina, Bentley is going to be a good one.

Just my observations from Saturday.

It was a good win. Just think, with wins against vandy and ut the dawgs would be in first place with a big showdown coming up with auburn.

I wonder what would have happened if Kentucky had ran the last two plays out of the wildcat at the end of their drive where they tied it up. Either score a td or give it up on downs inside the five. I think their oc was going to just keep pounding it. That was some old school play calling. I'm not a fan of the high end zone corner pass they tried on third down.

That was a heartbreaker for Kentucky. The play were the uga guy intercepted after the ball bounced off the uk receivers hands hurt. Just looking at the standings they could still win the east if Florida looses out. I'd like to see uk sneak in to the championship game.

Lot said in the video below . . . .

Regardless of who called the "meeting", the noise had grown louder outside of the campus.

Some have said on this board that wanting to see "improvement" week to week is wanted.

Kentucky is no pushover, Vanderbilt is not a pushover. Mississippi State let TAM know that they also play SEC football.

Lots of very good players in the South and growing larger in the North. West seems to have some problems. That too will change.

ogredawg said it well . . . . There is Alabama and the rest. LSU did not back down, just ran into what Saban and Company do well when games are on the line, win.

Good win for us, needed win. Auburn in Athens, Classic City will be rocking Saturday.

That's great, but the OC shouldn't be having meetings around game 9 that detail what the team is going to start doing.

If it's a simple as a committment to a certain type of play then it's just sad that it took the guy 8 games to figure out what we were and that being what we all knew we were supposed to be all along.

Last night was great... Kentucky was no complete pushover this season, at home, at night... but one game doesn't mean we've got it all figured out except for getting the talent in here.

We played well and Chaney called a decent game against UT and SC and we saw what followed the next week. We looked great against UNC and we almost got our ass handed to us by freakin' Nichols.

Ok... so now we beat Kentucky and narrowly avoided doing something we hadn't done since Richard Nixon, losing to Vandy and Kentucky in the same season. That's great..
now let's see what happens next week and for the rest of the year before we jump back on the bandwagon.

(I'm not accusing any of us here of thinking all is solved.. just thinking out loud)

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Another interesting read.

I respect Coach Stoops for his up front chatter. Pulls no punches, definitely building something good with his efforts in Kentucky.

One of his remarks that I found interesting . . . . Sounds a bit like Spurrier when commenting on Georgia Football talent, year after year.

2017 talent list at this point heading to Georgia is maybe the best I have seen over many years . . . . if they do make it to Athens.

Not one to get "stars in my eyes" over the win against Kentucky. Will say this, our defense is beginning to look "different" than our defenses of the past. Playing a lot of young talent, Coach Stoops has high regard for this 2016 group.

Not a fan of Gus . . . . A victory over Auburn would do a lot for our program, not just a win, which would be great, but recruiting efforts.

Was glad to see Kentucky vs Georgia game a sellout.

Time for Musburger to hit the road, does not come close to understanding football nearly as well as Jesse Palmer. Musburger has always been all about "himself". That being said by an old timer that knows a bit of his past. Won't go into one in particular that he threw under the bus many years back when the conversation was about race. Nuff said, except for this, one sportscaster retiring from CBS at the end of the season, too bad his partner will remain.

EDIT: A sampling of Musburger's past.
