AJ had zero... ZERO desire to follow Mark Richt to Miami.

Smart's idea was to set a precedent about UGA football. The putting in of Miami on the list of schools AJ can't transfer to is just a signal to future recruits. You don't come to UGA to follow a coach.

AJ never had any desire to follow the coach that never give him a chance.

Truth.

Wartdawg, I have wondered about Faton Bauta pulling up stakes and moving to Colorado. What I wonder about is why he would go with Mike Bobo. Makes me believe that a lot of Faton Bauta's problems were much like the one you described above about AJ Turman. More and more the "TRUTH" comes out. Appears many "knew" it was time to vacate, knowing that change was just around the corner.

For those that still hang their hat on Mark Richt, it was decided well before the Tech game that he was gone, believe many of those inside the program were more than aware, including Richt.

Richt made the trip to Washington for what reason? Thought maybe Jacob Eason and Family might consider moving to Miami . . . . just another thought.

Below reading the link, amazing how someone who had been a head coach for 15 years in Athens totally changed the way he runs practice. Absolute phoney, sorry try not to say those things, but once a Carney always belong to the Circus.

Running practice exactly as Jeremy Pruitt and Company brought the Nick Saban way to Athens.

Really think that Jacob Eason will grow up quicker in the SEC than some that have played before him in Athens.

My opinion, if Jacob listens closely to AM or spends time watching AM's film, he is going to have an outstanding college career while in Athens.

I believe this . . . . Jacob is going to be surrounded by some elite talent while wearing the Red and Black, and that will be longer than one year. Kirby Smart understands that he has the right young man calling the signals. Roller Coaster football departed Athens and moved to Miami.

UGA is fast approaching a first year under an "almost" complete coaching staff change. This is not to give Smart a "pass", does not need one.

Kimberley, soon it will be "our turn". Leadership in Athens is just that . . . . "Leadership" . . . . needed since ??

One thing easy enough to understand . . . .

Offensive Coordinator Jim Chaney "knows" he needs a quarterback.

Coach Chaney also knows that he has a young "stud" that is gifted physically and the grey matter fits in the SEC.

This is where this old dawg is at . . . .

I sincerely believe that Jacob Eason will do the same things during the Summer that AM did. Eason understands, hope that the receiving corps will spend the time in the Classic City needed to . . . . "play on Saturdays".

DAWGtm, would be hard for anyone to convince me that we are not on track.

We have a "group of coaches" that do not need the BS coming from the media to tell "you and me" that something is not right.

Seems to me that "WE" need to let the play between the "Hedges" determine where we are.

Anyone that follows 24/7, like the AJC, easy to take from them and manufacture something that is "second hand reading". Yes, they do that.

There are times that I hesitate, wonder if what I am saying does not matter.

This old dawg would like to sit down with those that play for pay, work the faithful for clicks and get past "stuff". Talk about "real football" that is so over the head of those posting for "clicks".

DAWGtm, sometimes, maybe more times than not, if I have been around the "stuff" I read year after year, is it me or is it the same "stuff".

More than willing to post what has been said for "years" about UGA Football. That is a statement about the "entire football team". What is it that I refer to . . . .

Building a SEC team that can compete with . . . . the West Side and the East Side.

Believe that we are very close. Looking forward to Tennessee . . . . in Athens. Bet this . . . . Kirby and Company will "kick" the "stuff" out of the "Checkerboards". Looking forward to the meeting. Butch, you are going to find out that you belong elsewhere. Checkerboards at this time will take anything dished up by a former "FSU" POS that now leads UT. Hard for those that have been through the "same game" more than "twice". Some never learn.
