For those that have not read Seth Emerson's article, referred to above by Pouty. Pulled this, will supply the link.
“I guess that’s just how he does that, and I understand that,” Turman said of Smart. “He has to put his foot down coming to a new school because he doesn’t want everyone trying to get a release. So we’re just not used to it like the kids that didn’t get recruited by him. Because we always were told if we don’t feel at home at the University of Georgia we could leave. And I thought it was still like that. Then coach Kirby … I understand, and I’m glad that I guess I got my release.”
Allow me this . . . . Pouty has "kissed up" to Seth Emerson since Seth left the Macon/Columbus group. Seth Emerson's good buddy left, moved north. Pouty is not a good replacement for Seth if he wants to move forward. A leech is a leech.
Pouty worried about being "upstaged" by Seth. That is the way that folks in the journalism business "move around".

yankeedawg1, was never sure that "I" would see UGA Football return to where "I" believe it is now . . . . going to be closely watched by many.
Many of us have been around the Red and Black for a long time, and then a AJC POS rides up and "makes believe" that he is all that.
Just another reason for me to be a part of this board.
Can name many that are here (Dawgs. com) that do not align themselves with the "stuff" that once upon a time was allowed by the "print media" . . . . Message to the "newsprint" bunch . . . . now you have graduated to the internet. No longer can the "newsprint group" control what is said without being "questioned".
Days of Outlar, Bishop on the newsprint pages, Sunday's filled in the sports section with photos about the game played 24 hours earlier. Jesse and Furman were simply this . . . . Journalist.
Cox has this back and forth figured out . . . . maybe. Pouty is in my mind trying to get away with "something"?. Needs to get away from the . . . . me, and my along with I.
Change was needed, change is solidly stationed in the Classic City.
Would love to see/read the "bleeding hearts" step forward and have a conversation with the members of Dawgs.com.
Dawgs.com is without a doubt the easiest site to "discuss" UGA Football, from "top to bottom". I say that for a reason.
At some point Cox will understand that Pouty is simply behind the Eight Ball. Wake up Seth Emerson, you do not need to be close to or attached to an anchor. Recognize that. You are a very talented young puppy that has a very bright future. Move away from the "Over the Hill Gang".
Pouty will always need a "shoulder" to "lean" on.
This "old fart" believes that those believing in the past fifteen (15) years is the right way to go . . . . My wagon lost a wheel, and hard to find mules this day and time to pull the wagon.
Pouty, UGA not only found the wheel and the mule, anyone that doubts that we had a positive change recently should come to Dawgs.com and discuss Georgia Football.
Believe that will happen? Nope. When coming to this site, it is free and open and believes in back and forth. Ask Scooby.

“We’re in agreement there should not be any reasons to not grant the wishes of any student-athlete who might want to transfer between our institutions as long as there has been no tampering,” McGarity said
I know the richt disciples can't conceive the possibility that he could do anything wrong, but maybe Kirby felt saint richt or somebody on his staff was trying too hard to get AJ to transfer.....
