yd1, Greg Pyke has been my favorite on the offensive line.

If Pyke comes back, tells me that he wants to learn a bit more under a very good offensive line coach hired by Head Coach Kirby Smart. Makes sense that Sam Pittman will have some "stuff" that can benefit Pyke. Him returning would be a very good thing.

These pundits chomp at the bit over every non story.
Interesting, they mostly dismiss the Smart hire as an average, untested move while lauding a coach with no SEC experience.
I will take Kirby over Kelly or Gruden or whatever the flavor of the week is.

I think it would be foolish to burn a year of eligibility by playing Crowder. Even though he may not use all 4 years of that eligibility, I wouldn't burn it now.

I know this game means something to these kids, but I'm pretty sure Marshall and AJ dan shoulder
the backup load. I wouldn't even be surprised if Turman came in and busted a big play.

Suffice it to say I'm not so sure I trust The judgment of those that relegated him to 5th string.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Three above average tight ends. Another example of coaches making a lot of money and for what reason . . . . judging talent has been less than successful the past fifteen years. Won't go there again, on this board we know and have discussed it at length.

Wartdawg, with you on Tae Crowder. While I should not make comparisons, I watch a lot of film and Tae reminds me of that very successful running back in Tuscaloosa. His high school coach said point blank . . . . many D1 Universities missed out on a top flight athlete. If the film I have watched is close to the real deal, his high school coach is spot on. Going to post it here again, third or fourth time.

Stiff arm, length of his strides, soft hands receiving . . . . If I was Jacob Eason, I would be excited about having Tae Crowder in my backfield. Bet this . . . . Jim Chaney is.

Excited, yep. Have had enough of those folks in Athens that have needed to get out of the way. Do know this, many former players that have gone on to be successful in the business world are in the Kirby Smart camp. I am.
