Too bad about B Mac, but nobody's indispensable. Was chasing 3 & 5 YOs around when Hines Ward was a dawg. Work habits required to be a coach in the SEC a little different than those required for a T.V. commentator.
Good thing CKS probably learned about contingency plans and adapting to changing circumstances in his former job

Good read dawgs_fans_dad.
Have always kept my eyes on Hines. He and I played quarterback for the Wine and Gold, Forest Park Panthers. Much has changed on the Southside, actually breaks my heart. I played in the 1950's, Hines came along much later, and all of us know what he accomplished.
Lots of chatter by the media folks about those coming and going. That is how they make their money.
Kirby Smart is coming to Athens focused. He knows how and will finally bring "leadership" to the Red and Black. Football folks on this board know what has been missing. Now the "missing" is the "U's" problem, they just do not know that yet.
