Answered Prayers - - - Tracy Rocker Stays was created by Buc
Several on the board have mentioned wanting Tracy Rocker to be retained. Kirby Smart really has a handle on his "wants" . . . . Guess it is now . . . . Smart/Rocker and Company.
Quote below from James DeLoach.
“He’s not going anywhere,” senior defensive tackle James DeLoach said Monday “I really think Coach Rocker bleeds the red and black. He’s really embraced this program and has really brought God, like me, along with him. I really think he passionately wants to stay.”

Not a problem yd1, shows that there are two old farts here that are excited with Rocker remaining in Athens. Great player, coach and recruiter.
Fingers remain crossed for at least one more remaining from the previous staff.
EDIT: Notice you mentioned BMac in another thread . . . .
EDIT2: Did read this . . . .
Also Monday, interim coach Bryan McClendon said he will have a chance during this week's Christmas break to discuss his future with the team. He said his focus will be on the bowl game when practice resumes next Monday.

More good news. Sherrer part of the coaching staff. He and Smart have worked together in Tuscaloosa, no problems understanding what is to be done. Looking good . . . .

Yes Buc, kinda hope Scherrar gets the DC position unless KS can pull a great one from somewhere else.
sad to see Thomas Brown leave but Richt making him co OC----TB made a good decision because that is moving up the coaching ladder.
However, it says KS wanted him to stay but would not bribe him with co OC status---shows KS knows what he wants, and is letting people know it will be his way or the highway.
Best decision for both. Good luck to TB in Miami.
Funny that Richt is naming Hartley special teams coordinator in Miami----if he had done that 4-5 years ago in Athens, he may still be here:)

Had not seen or read that BulldogShannon. Meaning Thomas Brown leaving.
Cannot blame TB for that, will mean more pocket money and he is one heck of a recruiter. South Florida loaded with running back talent, along with everything else, good move on his part.
Really like your comments on Kirby Smart taking a stand Shannon.
Kirby Smart is setting out to do what he has seen work and practiced under one of the best college coaches maybe in history.
Not a doubt in my mind that Kirby Smart will have his hands all over the defense, especially now. Smart and Sherrer working together, don't know where the "title thingy" will end up, but do know that is a solid start for 2016.
Rocker, Sherrer back from last season, along with Smart and those that he will end up choosing for the defensive side, shows a lot of promise. Beginning to get that feeling of "hope" once again, been a long time Shannon.
Not surprised that the head coach in Miami named a special teams coach, that will keep those that understand the game off of his butt. Guess he did learn something in 15 years. Have to say this, glad we have a different head coach in 2016.
EDIT: After reading your post, did some searching Shannon . . . .
