A lot of speculation out there right now. I just heard that Mushcamp has an interview with SC (no secret to anyone) and that he indeed reached out to Jeff Scott. I don't see Scott leaving Clemson for SC, so I'm sure it's Mushcamp just trying to go in with some leverage. I still think SC would like to have Fedora or Riley over Muschamp.

Funny... I've seen the same guy who not to long ago said firing Richt would be a bad decision now saying that it had to be done and it was the smart thing to do.

No matter how it works out, there will be a lot of revisionist history over at places
like the AJC, lol

Listening to Hines Ward on television.

Conversation came to whether or not he would consider joining the Kirby Smart team in Athens.

Hines said not only did he and Kirby play together at UGA, but said he is more than willing to sit and chat with Kirby if Kirby is interested. Matter of fact Hines said the thought of coaching college football, Georgia, his word was "intriguing.

Folks he was being sincere, no BS.

Lot of heavy hitters, former UGA players are into Kirby Smart coming to Athens.

Kirby Smart has a lot of folks that know he is going to change the fortunes in the Classic City.

growl, there was need for change in Athens. Great thing is our prayers were answered.

Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out. Thinking along the lines of coaching assistants. My bet is Kirby probably has most of his coaching team lined up. Maybe one or two yet, but he will have time after arriving in Athens to secure those that he wants.

Somehow I think after the game Saturday, probably his last with Alabama.

See that the AJC picked up the above after it was posted on Dawgs.com . . . . first.
