averagedawg, I've actually heard from several that Pruitt has differences with people everywhere he goes.
Good coach though....

I have heard Pruett and Smart had their differences at Alabama.

Let's just get KS here the rest will take care of itself. There will be plenty of better than average coaches who'll want to follow him

Amen there Buc. If we hire Herman and SC hires KS, and SC passes us.................McGarity will have made his last hire as UGA AD.
I think he has madehis last hire either way. If the next HC does not work out GM is gone

Pruett is a self promoter, not necessarily a bad thing.
Muschamp is a hothead but a good dc. Much of McElwain's success is because of Muschamp.
But he is a jerk.
Kiffen is an alcoholic with an affinity for women, has been linked with a certain booster's wife.
All these guys have baggage.
I want a winner who works so hard, his only focus is winning. That's why I want Kirby Smart.

Twist it a bit further.
What if Pruitt returned to Tuscaloosa as defensive coordinator.
National Championship at FSU.
Turned UGA's defense around totally.
Those of us that are UGA folks in Florida know what Muschamp said about not only the University of Georgia, some other off handed comments about folks that support the Georgia Bulldogs.
After what happened in gator country, hard for me to believe that Kirby Smart would bring Muschamp to Athens.
Muschamp at some point is going to get into a lot of trouble or knocked on his butt by a player. He is to put it carefully, a bit off balance.
EDIT: Below is the way I view Muschamp.

My first choice is Smart....
my second choice might have been Fuentes...
3rd...possibly Herman, but I had some concerns...
Mullen is waaaaaaay down the list.... I would want Pruitt LONG before I would
want DM. I just don't see the words "Championship Caliber Coach" preceding
that name.
