One last thing, I'm really beginning to wonder about Pruitt too. Could have it been perfect timing for him at FSU? I don't know but we still have a long ways to go on D. I'm sure if the O was producing then the D would probably look better the entire game but we still have a lot of issues up front and in our secondary.
Fire Richt, hire Smart and let him clean house and keep who he feels is worthy. The window on Smart is closing VERY fast!

I'm not sure they are capable of using him correctly.
I honestly don't think it's within their ability to actually draw the read option in the dirt or understand it if they had it printed out in front of them. I seriously don't think they understand the concepts. They will probably run it 3 times and then do the wilddawg once and claim that they employed a quantum paradigm switch in their philosophy.
They don't even have to do that. They can play to his strengths with roll outs and designed QB draws and other runs outside of the read option, but again.... I don't know if these coaches have it in them to call those plays consistently without their heads exploding.
They'll call 2 designed runs in the 1st quarter and then run Douglas up the middle against an 8 man front with no FB lead for the rest of the game.
I have ZERO faith in these guys doing anything else.
ZERO.

Sadly, your faith is justified.

Appears Bauta may not start......Lambert and Ramsey are getting the most work with the 1's.
I think they should start Bauta though....particularly if it's raining, Lambert can't hold on to the ball.
