This is what I would like to see sflanagan21. Head coach move into an area that fits what so many have come to say about him.
Not being ugly. Would like to see him in some type of missionary work or guidance of some sort that so many young folks need this day and time. I truly believe if all I have read about Richt is true, he could be a force for good.
sf21 do not believe that the head coach is going to be "all that" in college football, as far as Final Fours and some steps below that, do believe that he might be "fooling himself", that is about as far as I think I need to go.
Watching closely and would hate to see the head coach extend himself further than he has to this point. His mentor did that and it played out differently than many thought it would. There comes a time in all of our lives that we can't do the things we did at a much earlier age. Both physically and mentally. Truth.
Former head coach at Texas went through some of what is facing our head coach now. That also was ugly, much like the Bowden dismissal or retirement. Brown is now employed by the media, is doing an ok job, might be that would work for Mark Richt.
It is time for him to think "outside the box". I do not believe he can do that in the fast paced world of college football. Living room recruiting is one thing, presence on the football field is another area entirely, all of us know that. College football in 2015 is not the same as it was in 2001.
Would love for Mark Richt to look deeply and make the right decision for others as well as himself.
